Doherty-owned Chevy Fresh Mex Restaurants to Celebrate Their Fall Fiesta with Limited Time Menu and New Tequila Cocktails

Doherty-owned Chevys Fresh Mex restaurants in Clifton and Linden, NJ are inviting guests to an exciting Fall Fiesta featuring great new Mexican dishes (starting September 12) – and everyone’s favorite Mexican drink, tequila.

To kick-start the celebration, mixologists at Chevys have whipped up 10 new and delicious tequila-based libations sure to tantalize even the most demanding agave aficionado. Tequila will be available in margaritas, specialty cocktails, as shots and even guest-curated tasting flights. Selections vary from those tequilas aged 80-days up to those aged for several years. This exciting tequila menu and the new cocktails are available now.

“We designed our new cocktails to be fun and inspire our guests to explore tantalizing new taste combinations,” said Kurt Pahlitzsch, VP of Operations at Doherty Enterprises. “These cocktails are made from quality tequilas and we invite all our guests to stop by and sample a new tequila or revisit an old friend.”

The Tequila menu features three different Cristalinos, aged tequilas that have been charcoal filtered - which is an increasingly popular finishing touch before bottling. Other notable additions are an organic tequila from the award-winning Tres Agave brand; Komos, Tasting Magazine’s highest-rated tequila portfolio ever- including their first and only 100-point score, and 21 Seeds a handcrafted fruit/vegetable infused family of tequila produced by a women-owned tequila distillery in Mexico.

New Chevy’s cocktails include a Smokey Pineapple Mezcal made with agave nectar and the exhilarating El Dulce that’s made with Don Julio Anejo Tequila and Nola coffee liqueur.

In addition, both restaurants are featuring a special limited-time fall menu (starting Monday September 12) including Al Pastor Fajitas featuring Al Pastor pork served on a bed of San Antonio veggies and topped with roasted pineapple salsa; Fuego Street Corn coated with chipotle aioli and topped with Cotija aged cheese, tajin spice and fresh cilantro; and Birria Tacos comprised of Carnitas (slow-cooked pulled pork) in a corn tortilla grilled in a spicy consommé.
